AngelsBelowtheOcean - DuskTown

This story is about a woman named Sofia. She has the ability, with no control of her own, to travel to different worlds in her sleep. Some worlds are peaceful while others can be dangerous! 

This time she wakes up in an inn on top a giant tortoise. Traversing in an industrial dessert to reach an ancient city. Sofia has to adapt to this new setting, meeting new friends while trying to stay alive fighting monsters and bandits all along the journey.

My thought process

I love to create world settings for the adventurer Sofia, creating music I think would fit the world's setting :) . This time I decided with an orchestral influence, but I knew I wanted some electronic/synth sounds, so I found another producer named "Bound to Divide" on YouTube. With his tutorials I learned how to make some synth sounds while also learning how to use my DAW of choice, Ableton ! 

I enjoyed the sudden tempo changes in the n64 perfect dark OST, so I attempted that same concept with "Quantus".  

  through the same bound to divide channel I learned about sound design. I threw a bunch of sounds on different audio and midi channels trying to create new sounds to make the songs more interesting.
